Tax Credit

This year, MCC was proud to spearhead legislation passed into law that created a nation-leading child tax credit (CTC). This credit, paired with the working family credit, can significantly help families by increasing their tax return or lowering the amount of taxes owed. For example, a single parent making $45,000 annually with two children could receive a credit of $1,850.
