Our lives are so busy with our jobs, our families, our friends, and community, etc. Sometimes these things fill up our time and keep us from our own personal fulfillment. Have you been searching for a way to improve your own spiritual life? Have you been seeking a sense of belonging to a Christian community? Have you ever wondered what you could do to help the less fortunate in your community?
As individuals we often feel there is little we can do but, by joining with others and working together toward common goals, there is little that cannot be accomplished.
There exists today an organization which provides us with the means to work together and fulfill our needs. It is one of the largest Catholic Women’s organizations in the world. This organization is the Catholic Daughters of the Americas.
Founded in 1903 by the Knights of Columbus, Catholic Daughters of the Americas is a service organization who works under the Motto of “Unity & Charity”. We are comprised of Catholic women age 18 years or older. Our mission is to work for the whole church, nationally and locally. Spiritual development is one of the strengths of this organization. Catholic Daughters are sisters in Christ and a blessing to each other.
Under our “Circle of Love” program there is something for every one of us. Our Circle of Love program consists of: Leadership, Spiritual Enhancement, Quality Of Life, National Charitable Projects, Youth, Education, and Legislation. The women of Court Holy Rosary seek to work together in unity and charity, towards a better more meaningful spirit-filled life for themselves and their families.
One of the components of being a Catholic Daughter is acting together to make a difference in the lives of God’s people. Catholic Daughters participate in many things that enhance the spiritual life of each member. Service for others is the backbone of our mission. We support charities, parishes and individuals with our time and talent and treasure.
In summary, the Catholic Daughters of the Americas is an organization through which today’s woman can help to create change. It is an organization through which an individual can reasonably make a difference in today’s world. It is an organization through which friends can be made and personal growth attained. And, finally, and most importantly, it is an effective means through which we can serve our brothers and sisters along with serving God, church, and country.
Please join us and help to make a difference. Thank you and God bless!
