Confirmation perfects Baptismal grace: it is the sacrament which gives the Holy Spirit in order to root us more deeply in the divine filiation, incorporate us more firmly into Christ, strengthen our bond with the Church, associate us more closely with her mission, and help us bear witness to the Christian faith in words accompanied by deeds. (Catechism of the Catholic Church 1316)
The Sacrament of Confirmation is offered for youth through our Faith Formation program and for adults through OCIA (Order of Christian Initiation of Adults). Youth Confirmation Preparation
For the 2026-27 school year, preparation for the sacrament of Confirmation will take place for our youth during Wednesday evening Faith Formation. Youth begin preparing to discern this sacrament in their 8th & 9th grade year and continue to do so in their 10th & 11th grade year. Youth who have discerned to receive the sacrament of Confirmation in 10th and 11th grade will receive the sacrament in May 2027.
